Department of Hindi

Hindi - An Introduction:

As a National language of India Hindi is the most popular Indian language . It is a bridge element for bringing together all the different state languages , even for scientific and research studies this language is most suitable , easily accessible and powerful .
Because of its scientific and valuable status this language was unanimously declared as a National language of India on 14 / 09 / 1949 . Through the media this language has been spread all over the world and has been popularized ,a Hindi web site is being prepared for educational purpose by the Govt. of India .

Department of Hindi:

Hindi Department Establishment - 1956. The following are the pioneers and pillars of the department
1. Fr. Ekka , who started the department with great efforts . From 1956- -1958
2. Ms. Shanta Jain ,H.O.D. From 1958 ---1990
3. Dr. Pushpalata Jain H.O.D. From 1979 -- 2001
4. Dr. Kavita Shanware H.O.D. From 1973--2005

At present the department is headed by Mrs. Sindhu Patil , engaged in Minor Research Project and other literary activities . Working from 2006 till the day.

A guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Annie Joseph ,H.O.D. Hindi ,Hislop college ,Nagpur on 13/08/2007 at the inaugural function of Hindi Bhasha Samiti .The topic was ‘ Hindi Bhasha Ka Mahatva ’
‘ Hindi Diwas ’ was celebrated and Swarachit Kavita Pathan competition was conducted on 14 /09 .2007
On 11/10 2007 A debate competition was conducted on the topic ‘ Kya Achar Sanhita Honi Chahiye Ya Doordarshan Vahiniyon Ko Swtantrata Di Jani Chahiye?’

ACTIVITIES DURING 2008

Bhasha Samiti Samapan Samaroh was conducted on 25 /01 /2008
15 / 08/ 2008 on the occasion of Independence day an Essay Competition & Poetry Competition was conducted . The topic of essay was – ‘ Kisanon ki Atmahatyaye ’and ‘ Aanvic karar ’ Topic for Kavita was ‘ Bhartiya Rajniti Paridrushya ’ and ‘ Mera Bharat Mahan ’
A guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Karuna Umare , H.O.D. Hindi , L.A. D. College ,Nagpur .on 27 /08 /2008 at the inaugural function of Hindi Bhasha Samiti .The topic was ‘ Hindi Bhasha Ka Swarup Va Vikas ’
From 14 /09 /2008 to 20 /09 /2008 ‘ Hindi Week ’was celebrated .Following competitions were organized –
1 . Paper reading
2 . Gadyakhand Pathan
3 . Anuvad
4 . Aandhi – Educational Film show was organized for B.A. III Year , based on novel ‘ Kali Aandhi ’ for B.A.III ,Year, written by Kamleshwar
