SCHOLARSHIP, FREESHIP & CONCESSIONS



1) Govt. of India Scholarship : For a student belonging to SC/ST who has failed only once OR whose father's / guardian's income is above Rs. 1,00,000/- P.A. provided he/she produces sufficient proof.

2) Govt. of India Scholarship : For a student belonging to VJ - NT/OBC/SBC who has failed only once OR whose father's / guardian's income is above Rs. 65.250/- P.A. provided he/she produces sufficient proof.

3) Teacher's Concession: The wards of the teachers are entitled for the concession under following category. Primary, Middle & High School Teachers Concession: This concession is available to those students whose parents are teachers in Primary, Middle/High Schools or Junior College Teachers in the Govt. Zilla Parishad/Corporation or Private Govt. Aided and Recognized Schools/ Colleges ( Approval letter of teacher should be enclosed).

4) E.B.C. For the students whose parents /guardian's income is below Rs. 15,000/- P.A. on submission of income certificate from revenue officer for the year 2006-2007 (i.e. 1.4.2006 to 31.3.2007).

5) E.B.C. CONCESSION : Students belonging to Economically Backward Classes whose parent's income is within the income limit prescribed by Maharashtra State Government and the number of members in whose family does not exceed three, excluding mother and father, can avail of the facility. For this an application in prescribed form available in the office is to be submitted in the scholarship section separately within one month from the date of regular admission in the college. If the E.B.C. form is rejected by the government office on any ground the students will have to pay full fees to the college.
The students of P.G. Courses will not get such type of concession because the courses are on " NO GRANT BASIS".

6) Defense Concession: For a student whose parents are in the Military Department

7) State Govt. Open Merit Scholarship: For a student who has obtained 60% and above marks in the qualifying examination. This scholarship depends upon the sanction of the Director of Education, Pune.

8) National Merit Scholarship: For a student who has obtained 60% and above marks in the qualifying exam.

9) Girl Students only from Maharashtra are eligible for Girls Concession provided they fill up the Girls Concession Form.


*Students belonging to other than Maharashtra State are not eligible for any of the above consessions.
