Training & Placement Cell
This cell offers guidance to students since many years but since 2003, it has become more active. It has organized seminars on Management courses (MBA), career
counseling for airhostess and diploma in aviation, hospitality and travel management. Special emphasis was given to sessions for careers in armed forces. Seminars on the job opportunities in B.P.O. industry and effectiveness of information technology in today's world were very well put forth before the aspirants. Apart from these, talks are arranged for usual research oriented careers in various disciplines like, physical sciences, humanities, and biotechnology from time to time.
Campus interviews were organized for many companies and their sister concerns like, G. E. Capital, Wipro, HSBC Electronic Data Processing India Pvt. Ltd., ACE Career Academy, Career Streams, Customer first, Mafoi Management Consultant, The Redwood Horizon firm,
excreta. These interviews were mainly held for recruitment in B.P.O. industry. Also, campus interviews were organized for Progen Ltd., an infosys company, for software personnel. 3 students were selected by Progen in the year 2005-06 and 10 students were placed in B.P.O. industry and many were placed through different agencies in the city.
Now, a body of 11 students having their president, vice-presidents and secretary shall bring more vitality and dynamism to this cell. We expect it to flourish and galvanize the minds of many and help them settle in their life.
Recently Chromous Biotech Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore has conducted a campus interview for their marketing division. One student has been selected for the same.
